Hygiene BankThe Hygiene Bank

Hygiene poverty is a hidden yet very real problem throughout the UK with more than 14 million people affected in some way. 60% of those living in poverty are working families and astonishingly 4.5 million of those are children. People face the choice of buying food or buying hygiene products and, of course, food takes priority.

You will see a yellow Hygiene Bank box next to the Foodbank box and, if you care to help, items which would be welcomed are toothpaste, toothbrushes (child/adult), shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, razors, shaving foam, deodorant, hairbrushes/nit combs, nit shampoo, sanitary products, nappies, baby wipes, toilet rolls and laundry detergent.

Thank you
