CHAT believes that everybody is entitled to decent, secure & affordable housing — somewhere to call home.

They give Free Housing Advice in person or over the phone & can act on your behalf on housing issues.

They can offer landlords a Deposit Guarantee if you cannot afford a deposit.

With the free support from their Tenancy Support workers they can support you to keep your home & move on with your life.

They house & support young people in their Youth Housing Project houses in Tiverton (including a mother & baby house).

Their Young People & Family Mediation Service has two trained mediation counsellors to work with any family where a young person, aged 16-19, might be on the verge of being asked to leave home, to see if a reconciliation is possible
